Abe's Corner

There was a time once when you could visit your local general store. They had everything you needed. The person at the register knew you, asked how your day was, and could quickly point you to the where the thing you needed was.

That person at the register had also already done work of making sure that everything they sold was the right version for you. They didn't carry 45 versions of everything, you didn't have to walk a football field to the back left corner of the store, and pull out your phone to see which thingamagig was the one you needed - that person at the register had already done that work. Because shopping is work.

For us, that person was Abe.
